Tim Lidiak | President

Tim Lidiak presently serves as the President of Newbold CDC.  A resident of South Philadelphia since 1999, Tim brings extensive practical experience in commercial corridor revitalization and strategic public investment to his position on the CDC Board.  In much of his professional career, he has focused on transportation infrastructure planning – both in the public sector, where he presently works for the Federal government, and in the private sector, where he has worked for engineering consulting companies.  Prior to these positions, Tim was employed as Deputy Director of Avenue of the Arts, Inc. where he focused on the strategic planning and economic revitalization of the city’s performing arts district.  He has also led volunteer efforts for the past six years in “greening” and beautifying the public spaces along East Passyunk Avenue.  Tim holds a Masters Degree in City & Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
